The D-100 is ideal for the first time user yet sensitive enough for serious bat research. Three microphones of two types give maximum sensitivity across the tuneable range and low background noise. Backlit frequency control makes it easier to read at night. The wider frequency range means it can also be used to detect insects such as grasshoppers.
